1What type of properties does RP manage?
The common standard for us is a luxury property that has personality and maintains a high-standard. It can be ocean side villas and rainforest homes, as well as finely curated private homes and serviced residences in the city.
2Which areas does RP's service cover?
We currently cover properties in highly desirable locations within 50km from central Kuala Lumpur, with additional regions across Peninsular Malaysia launching in 2020.
3Who are RP property owners?
Our property owners are people who’ve invested time, love and money into their properties and value the flexibility our service offers - to use their properties when they want to.
4What does RP do for the owners?
We manage every aspect of keeping your property booked and ready for guests and owners to enjoy. Our goal is to enable you to make the most revenue without having to do any of the busy work involved with managing it. That means we do everything from taking stunning photos, writing fitting stories, branding it and marketing it to potential guests as well as managing logistics including reservations, payments, check-in and check- out, housekeeping and maintenance. We make sure the property is being taken care of to maximize revenue.
5Will you help convert my property to a luxury rental?
Yes, we will - so it meets our standards to deliver the best RP experience.
6What is RP’s method of revenue distribution and when do owners get paid?
Our method is profit sharing. That does not necessarily mean it is the only answer - but we believe that it perfectly aligns our incentives with our owners. We currently pay owners once a month. Expect to receive an owner statement and a deposit to your bank account within about 10 days after the end each month. This statement and deposit will cover all guests that check-out during that month. If there is a guest crossing over one month to the next, the payment for that reservation falls in the month they check-out.
7How easy is it to get started with RP?
Getting started with us is simple, straightforward and risk-free. We can activate properties that are existing luxury rentals quickly if everything meets our standards. Normal activation includes shooting new photos, putting together detailed listings, setting pricing and activating advertising - all in as little as a few weeks. This can take longer if the property is in the process of being converted from a residence or long-term rental.
